Buy License (old button, merged)

Old command ID: btnBuyLicenseTop — no longer on the ribbon.

In earlier builds the About group of the DVD Addin tab had a large Buy License button (keytip BL) that showed only while the machine was not activated and hid itself after activation. That button has been merged into the License button.

What to do now

• Click the License button in the same place (tab DVD Addin → group About, keytip Alt, G, U, K). While you are not activated, its label states the situation: Trial: N days left during the trial, a ⚠ in the last 3 days, Buy License once the trial has ended.
• The License box that opens has the 🛒 Buy License button (3-step purchase window: pick plan → your details → scan the payment QR) right next to the sign-in form — after paying you sign in right there with the password sent by email.
• Once activated, the box shows Renew / Upgrade to Pro instead.
• In the last 7 trial days and after expiry, the License button also appears on the DVD Cons tab → Quick group.
• Shortcuts assigned to the old command still work and now open the License box. In the command palette (Ctrl+Shift+Q), type "Buy License" — see Buy License.
