Update & uninstall

Check for updates

DVD Addin → About menu → Check Update. If a new version exists, dialog shows release notes + download link.

Auto-check runs on Excel start (toggleable in Preferences).

Uninstall

Settings → Apps → Installed apps → DVDAddin → Uninstall.

Uninstall does not remove:

• Registry settings (HKCU\Software\DVD\DVDAddin\*).
• License token (%LocalAppData%\DVDAddin\license.dat).

→ This means re-install keeps your config + activated license. To start fresh, manually delete those paths.
